Webb Simpson is the returning champion from the 2020 tournament, but he won’t be the favorite to repeat at TPC Scottsdale. That would go to Jon Rahm, coming off a tied-for-seventh finish at the Farmers Insurance Open. And, a quick note for fans looking for him: Tiger Woods will not appear at the Waste Management Open. He is still recovering from back surgery and has yet to commit to a return date.
With that, here’s everything you need to know about the 2020 Waste Management Open, including TV channels, streaming options, tee times, purse, odds and more:

Waste Management Open 2021 COVID-19 rules
The Waste Management Open will feature the most on-site spectators since the PGA Tour resumed in June 2020: slightly fewer than 5,000 socially distanced fans per day. Tournament director Scott Jenkins originally planned for roughly 8,000 fans to attend daily, though he had to scale that back with rising COVID-19 cases in the state of Arizona. Fans must wear masks and will have their temperatures checked before they’re allowed on the course.
Waste Management Open past winners
Simpson will look to replicate a feat only three other golfers have achieved since 2000: win the Phoenix Open twice. That was most recently accomplished by Hideki Matsuyama in 2016 and ‘17, the only golfer to repeat as winner this millenium. The other golfers are Phil Mickelson (2005, ‘13) and J.B. Holmes (2006, ‘08). Here’s a look at each of the winners since 2000, and their respective winner’s shares:
