Durant went for 34 and shook off early game nerves to rally and help Golden State secure the win in OKC — his first game back in Chesapeake Arena as a member of the Warriors. Durant hit a deep dagger 3 over Westbrook to all but seal the game.

When asked after the game if the boos rattled him, KD simply responded, “I actually thought it would be a little louder.”

Pretty cold stuff from Durant.

11:14 p.m. END OF GAME: Golden State wallops OKC to the tune of a 130-114 victory. 

11:10 p.m.: Golden State up by 18 with 1:10 left to play. This game was never really close, regardless of what the crowd might have had viewers believe. 

11:06 p.m.: Westbrook has 47 on the night with 2:36 left to play, but it looks like it’ll come in a losing effort. 

11:01 p.m.: Durant drills a 3-pointer from the Bay Area and puts the Warriors back up 19 points. Oh, and he put it up over Westbrook.

10:57 p.m.: Westbrook full steam ahead right at Kevin Durant, and Durant picks up his fifth foul. OKC down 13 with 5:15 left. (115-102)

10:53 p.m.: Draymond Green with a gorgeous dime to a cutting Durant for the emphatic flush.

 

10:50 p.m.: We got a jump ball situation here with Durant and Westbrook. This is the moment. Kind of.

10:46 p.m.: Anthony Morrow hits a 3-pointer to cut the lead down to 12. Golden State up 108-96. 

10:40 p.m.: OKC down 105-89 with 10:53 left in the game. If there’s a time to start making it close, it’s now.

10:34 p.m. END OF QUARTER: Westbrook throws down an emphatic dunk to end the third quarter. Westbrook has 41.

10:34 p.m.: OKC pulls to within 20 and the crowd could not be more excited, for some reason. Well, appreciated their loyalty. 

10:26 p.m.: Starting to get chippy here, with Durant and Andre Roberson starting to go at it following a foul. Iguodala gets hit with a tech. 

10:24 p.m.: Westbrook has 35 points, but just turned the ball over for the ninth time. Could be looking at a triple-double with the wrong numbers.

10:18 p.m.: Oladipo hits a 3 and there’s signs of life from OKC. Westbrook and Durant are jawing one another as we head to commercial. Woof!

10:17 p.m.: Westbrook goes right at Durant and scores a bucket. The crowd cheers. The game is still out of reach at the moment.

10:15 p.m.: Golden State has 91 and there’s still 18 minutes left in the game. Might be a 120 burger coming OKC’s way.

10:06 p.m.: It’s starting to get dark early in OKC. Thompson nails another 3-pointer to keep Golden State up 23. (84-61) Or, maybe not.

9:59 p.m.: Oklahoma City has a long way to climb back into this, as Klay Thompson hits Golden State’s eighth 3-pointer of the game, to put the Warriors up by 26. (76-50)

9:42 p.m. END OF HALF: Durant slams home a dunk for his 15th point of the half, and ends the first half with a 23-point lead. Westbrook has 21 points, nine rebounds and seven turnovers.

9:41 p.m.: Durant finds McGee again, and JaVale is six for six from the floor. After a Stephen Curry 3-pointer, the lead is up to 21.

9:36 p.m.: Oh, by the way, this happened, too.

9:34 p.m.: Everyone out here chanting “Cupcake,” and The Pioneer Woman is just sitting in the crowd, taking in the game. Coincidences don’t exist.

9:27 p.m.: 4:53 left in the second, and the Warriors are up 18. Very hot second quarter, and Durant looks like he shook off early-game woes.

9:15 p.m.: Warriors are opening up a big lead on the Thunder, with a 14-point lead with 8:11 left in the quarter.

9:08 p.m.: Warriors head coach Steve Kerr delivers a reasonable response on the OKC fans reaction to Durant:

9:02 p.m. END OF QUARTER: After a quarter that had OKC leading for much of it, Golden State heads to the break up by six, 30-24.

9:01 p.m.: Andre Iguodala hits the first 3-pointer of the game. 

8:56 p.m.: 2:32 left in the first quarter, and the fans still haven’t gotten off Durant’s case. No surprise there, I guess. But this is slowly turning into the JaVale McGee show. McGee has eight points in the first.

8:52 p.m.: Durant back on Westbrook, and Westbrook bricks the jumper. OKC up 19-14 with 4:05 left in the quarter.

8:46 p.m.: First time we get Durant defending Westbrook in the game. Crowd explodes. Russ passes it off to Adams for the easy bucket. 

8:40 p.m.: JaVale McGee wants no part of #Shaqtin tonight.

8:36 p.m.: Fans booing KD relentlessly when he touches the ball. He scores the first two points for the Warriors.

8:24 p.m.: Six minutes until game time, and fans won’t let up.
