Durant went for 34 and shook off early game nerves to rally and help Golden State secure the win in OKC — his first game back in Chesapeake Arena as a member of the Warriors. Durant hit a deep dagger 3 over Westbrook to all but seal the game.
When asked after the game if the boos rattled him, KD simply responded, “I actually thought it would be a little louder.”
Pretty cold stuff from Durant.

11:06 p.m.: Westbrook has 47 on the night with 2:36 left to play, but it looks like it’ll come in a losing effort.

10:53 p.m.: Draymond Green with a gorgeous dime to a cutting Durant for the emphatic flush.
10:50 p.m.: We got a jump ball situation here with Durant and Westbrook. This is the moment. Kind of.
10:46 p.m.: Anthony Morrow hits a 3-pointer to cut the lead down to 12. Golden State up 108-96.
10:40 p.m.: OKC down 105-89 with 10:53 left in the game. If there’s a time to start making it close, it’s now.

10:18 p.m.: Oladipo hits a 3 and there’s signs of life from OKC. Westbrook and Durant are jawing one another as we head to commercial. Woof!
10:17 p.m.: Westbrook goes right at Durant and scores a bucket. The crowd cheers. The game is still out of reach at the moment.
10:15 p.m.: Golden State has 91 and there’s still 18 minutes left in the game. Might be a 120 burger coming OKC’s way.
10:06 p.m.: It’s starting to get dark early in OKC. Thompson nails another 3-pointer to keep Golden State up 23. (84-61) Or, maybe not.
9:59 p.m.: Oklahoma City has a long way to climb back into this, as Klay Thompson hits Golden State’s eighth 3-pointer of the game, to put the Warriors up by 26. (76-50)
9:42 p.m. END OF HALF: Durant slams home a dunk for his 15th point of the half, and ends the first half with a 23-point lead. Westbrook has 21 points, nine rebounds and seven turnovers.
9:41 p.m.: Durant finds McGee again, and JaVale is six for six from the floor. After a Stephen Curry 3-pointer, the lead is up to 21.
