Warhammer AoS: Soul Arena’s debut trailer at Warhammer Fest didn’t disclose much in terms of gameplay specifics, but the cutesy visuals indicate a new angle for the Mortal Realms setting, inferring a more comedic, slapstick tone as compared to other titles in the franchise. Bobble-headed caricatures of series mainstays, like the Stormcast Eternals, Nighthaunt, Skaven and Seraphon, make an appearance in colorful dioramas that establish Warhammer AoS: Soul Arena’s lighthearted tone....

2004’s Catwoman, directed by Pitof, is often regarded as one of the worst films of all time. Berry’s performance of the character is what’s most highly criticized, but it really was a weird premise for the film to begin with. It seemingly had nothing to do with the DC universe, there was no mention of Batman, and the origin story for the character was pretty wild. Roger Ebert famously said that it abandoned the character entirely and instead became a film based on showcasing Halle Berry’s sex appeal, and the film swept that year’s Razzies....

The Warriors — who made the NBA Finals for a fifth straight year last season — fell to 0-2 following Sunday’s disappointing 120-92 loss to the rebuilding Oklahoma City Thunder. Playing without injured star Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant, who departed for the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State was no match for Oklahoma City as the Thunder (1-2) raced out to a stunning 70-37 halftime lead. Stephen Curry led the woeful Warriors with 23 points after his teammates made just 23 of 74 shots, while offseason recruit D’Angelo Russell was ejected in the third quarter for arguing with an official....

And yet, with an entire country hoping the Warriors would fall apart on Monday night, Golden State fired back with a championship mettle that powered them to a wild 106-105 victory in Toronto. The Warriors finished Game 5 with a 9-2 run to send the NBA Finals to Oracle Arena. The two-time MVP, who missed the last 11 games as he recovered from a strained groin, failed to connect on his first three shots – all three-pointers – but then drove to the basket for an old fashioned three-point play on the first possession of the second quarter. But, that did not stop a streaking Detroit team. At one point in the second quarter, the Pistons led by as many as 11 points and they entered half-time with a 54-46 advantage....

That dynamic extends beyond the lines and into the stands. As badly as teams want to beat them, opposing fans put as much, if not more, effort into passionately rooting for their squads when they faces the Dubs. Friday night, Steph Curry and company will have an opportunity to avenge the only blemish on their 25-1 record when they host the Bucks. The game doesn’t tip until 10:30 p.m. ET in Oakland, but Warriors supporters have already one-upped Bucks fans as part of an ongoing battle....

Last season’s NBA Finals MVP Durant has been ruled out with an ankle injury he suffered earlier this year, while Green will be rested. This is not a primetime game on national television so the Warriors would not be fined by the league for resting their players, which the NBA now has power to do. As for Durant, this does beg the question how serious his ankle injury is. It is the third time this season the former Oklahoma City Thunder star has missed games due to the problem....

How things have changed. Curry is feeling good and Golden State got closer to clinching the No. 1 seed with a 108-90 victory over the also-ran Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. “Much more comfortable this year,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “This year I think it’s been good for us to have to compete for the one-seed.” With four regular-season games remaining, the Warriors own the best record in the West (54-24) and have a two-game lead over idle second-place Denver....

Green was hurt in the first quarter of Golden State’s 117-101 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies, forcing him to the locker room for treatment. While the three-time NBA All-Star returned to the court again in the second quarter, he did not feature at all after half-time. However, Kerr revealed after the game the 28-year-old was not used as a precaution, with the team deciding to “shut him down” despite encouraging X-ray results....

The Warriors didn’t look too different from the squad that won a record 73 games this season, even without the NBA’s leading scorer....

Pascal Siakam was a standout for the Raptors, scoring 32-points on 14-of-17 shooting. Siakam started the game 2 for 4 from the floor, then hit his next 11 shots before finally missing with 55 seconds remaining in the game. Siakam, Kawhi Leonard and Marc Gasol combined for 75 of Toronto’s 118 points. Four of the Raptors’ five starters scored in double figures. Fred VanVleet proved to be a reliable option off the bench, pouring in 15 points....

After starting off this season red-hot, winning 27 of their first 33 games, Golden State has found it difficult to maintain its form and Draymond Green’s availability or lack thereof is a huge reason why. Although they have won their last three games, the Warriors have gone just 8-7 in the 15 games since Christmas Day and of those 15, they are 5-6 when Green isn’t available. In addition, their games since Christmas Day have also included the integration of former multiple All-Star Klay Thompson....

Golden State’s struggled through the first month and a half of the season, but that hasn’t slowed Kevin Durant, who’s scoring average ranks in the top five in the league. Stephen Curry missed 11 games this season for the Warriors because of injury, but hasn’t missed a beat since his return. Warwickshire’s batsmen progressed, not without alarms, to 90-0 in reply to Derbyshire’s 226, a deficit of 136. So where does that leave the game, with a decent forecast tomorrow? Well, the hosts could declare tomorrow morning and lob up some cafeteria bowling in the hope that we set them a challenging but fair total. I suspect that we would not be overly generous in such circumstances and wouldn’t want to lose our first game of the season....

What a shame that the man in the middle had to spoil this particular match. Rayo it has to be said, are usually quite accommodating opponents in any event.
